Art has a story, it has a place in our hearts, thoughts, experiences. Street art has it’s own soul, and souls that interact with it. Street art often has an intrinsic message that coveys the times, the political atmosphere created by those voted in. Often depicting the views of those who want them out. Let’s not say it’s rather ‘bland’…….. street art is curated by the people not by a curator, gallery owner, money maker.
Banksy was not the first person to put Port Talbot on the map, it’s a town that has a strong connection to Hollywood already. And remember let’s not put Banksy on a pedestal because this makes shit too serious, let’s experience art and let’s have a place for art in our community.
